Prevent the US government from shutting down PBS

Prevent the US government from shutting down PBS
The Issue
For decades, PBS has shaped the lives of millions of children, including myself, with the educational and moral guidance provided by programs such as Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger. These programs provide accessible learning, particularly for households that don’t have private schools or other resources at their disposal. Today, with funding for PBS under threat, the future of a service 80% of parents say makes their children “more curious and eager to learn” hangs in the balance. To lose PBS would be to lose an essential tool in childhood development for millions. We need to make it clear to our legislators that we want the funding for it to stay so that gunner librarians and Internet disruptors of the future can have access to the most transformative media available. Please sign the petition to help save PBS and its history.
