This petition is deeply personal to me. I am the proud owner of a lovable XL bully puppy whose life has just begun. It's heartbreaking to think that she, along with many others, could be condemned simply because of the actions and choices of certain owners.

XL bullies are often misunderstood and unfairly stigmatized due to their size and breed. However, it's important to remember that a dog's behavior is largely influenced by its upbringing and environment, not its breed or size. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), breed-specific legislation has not been proven effective in reducing dog bite incidents.

It is unjust for all XL bullies to be banned or worse, killed because some owners fail in their responsibility towards these animals. Instead of banning them outright, we should focus on promoting responsible pet ownership which includes proper training and socialization for all dogs regardless of their breeds.

We urge lawmakers and animal welfare organizations alike to reconsider any laws or policies that unfairly target XL bullies based solely on their breed or size. Let us work together towards creating a society where every dog is judged by its behavior rather than its breed or appearance.
