Prevent the Transfer of Our Beloved SRO Francisco from Our School

The Issue

Francisco, our School Resource Officer (SRO), is cherished by all within our school community. His thoughtful engagements with students have left indelible impressions, positively shaping countless young lives. Francisco represents more than an authority figure; he is a mentor, friend, and educator who plays a pivotal role in our journey toward adulthood. As cherished members of our school community, we fight to retain this invaluable asset. Francisco's potential transfer threatens the rapport he has cultivated with students, a bond that is crucial for maintaining a positive school atmosphere. Studies consistently highlight the benefits of continuity within the school environment, notably with SROs, indicating a decrease in student misconduct and an increase in overall school safety (National Association of School Resource Officers). By displatching Francisco to another school, we would be destroying the community fabric he helped weave. Let us band together and voice our protest against this proposed change. Retain SRO Francisco - for us, for the school, and for our community. It's time to unite, stand firm, and say – Francisco stays! Sign our petition today.
