We are residents of the quiet, upscale community of Breakaway Trails in Ormond Beach, FL. A developer plans on constructing storage units just inside our main entrance, which could irreversibly alter the character of our neighborhood. These storage units will stand out, distracting from our neighborhood's natural beauty, and potentially becoming the first impression for potential homebuyers. The negative impact could lead to a significant reduction in property values for all residents. 

Furthermore, there are concerns that the development will require the removal of our cherished Specimen Oak trees and other features like our white fence and sign at the south entrance. More disturbing, however, is the potential this installation poses to attract criminals and other trespassers to our peaceful community.

We cannot let our neighborhood become an attractive spot for crime and overlook the devastating impacts on our community's value and environment. Together, let's preserve the integrity and safety of Breakaway Trails. Stand with us by signing this petition to stop the development of storage units in our neighborhood's main entrance.
