Prevent the Installation of Cell Towers in Riverbank

The Issue

I, alongside fellow Riverbank residents, can no longer stand idle as our children's health is put at risk due to the proposed cell towers' installation. As members of this community, it deeply concerns us. A study by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) demonstrates a potential link between long-term exposure to the type of radiation emitted by cell towers and adverse health effects, especially on growing children (NIEHS, 2018).

Additionally, the Environmental Health Trust reports that cell tower radiation can potentially cause symptoms such as headaches, sleep disruptions, and even memory problems. Our kids deserve to grow up in an environment that does not potentially threaten their well-being.

Let us remember that Riverbank is a community defined by its commitment to preserving a safe and healthy living space for its citizens. We are united, not just by geographical location, but by shared values - the most crucial of which is the well-being and safety of our children.

Let us learn from Ripon, let’s do better.

We urge local officials to keep these cell towers out of our city.

Sign our petition and stand up for the safety of Riverbank children and the integrity of our community.
