I am a local resident and Maasi's has been my safe space for years. It's not just a café—it's a sanctuary for many and a beacon of hope for women from disadvantaged communities, providing them with invaluable opportunities to get back on their feet. This multi-award-winning local café is a cornerstone of our community, offering outstanding food and service to all who walk through its doors.

What makes this café truly special is its commitment to supporting not just individual customers, but the entire community. They collaborate with local schools, offer support to our hospice, and work hand-in-hand with local businesses to foster a thriving community spirit. Their tireless efforts have helped forge a strong bond within our neighborhood, making it a vibrant and welcoming place for everyone.

However, our cherished café is now facing the threat of eviction by the Church in Wales, with no valid reason given. This decision threatens not only the livelihood of the café’s dedicated staff, but also the supportive ecosystem that it so carefully nurtures. It is imperative that we take action to prevent this unjust eviction and preserve the invaluable contributions this café makes to our community.
