Our local shop has been a cornerstone of our community for generations. Serving us through thick and thin, this shop has developed deep personal connections with many of us in this area. Unfortunately, our landlord has decided to demolish the shop to make way for a new apartment building. This shop embodies a sense of community and it provides essential services that cannot be replaced by a housing block. 

More than just a shop, it is a symbol of our shared history and continued commitment to local businesses. Small businesses are under threat across the country, The loss of our local shop would not only be another statistic added to this disturbing trend but also a devastating blow to our community's culture and tradition.

Let's come together as a community. Let's protect our local shop and the services it provides to us. The demolition of it is more than just a brick and mortar issue - it's about our community's very identity. Please sign the petition against the demolition of our local shop.

Previous application has been denied by council .Now the landlord has decided to submit the new plan and go ahead and demolish the shop and our symbol of local community 

We must act NOW. We must get the attention of Planning Officer Sajjad Dar (sajjad.dar@newham.gov.uk)  to stop him from going ahead with the demolition.
