I have added the Phoenix Elementary #1 Board members to the key decision makers, as well as the mayor and others who may have some influence. Please email them your concerns. During the heard family meeting they would not answer if there was anything we could do to save the school, would not specify how much closing heard itself will actually save (all they have provided says $2 million closing Heard and Dunbar. Even more concerning they are planning on creating a bus hub at Heard and expect kids to have to walk to there to take the bus to Capitol Elementary. This is unacceptable.
