I am a resident of ACT, Australia and have been deeply impacted by the services provided by Green Shed. This establishment has been instrumental in accepting items that other organizations like Vinnies cannot. From super old records to old PCs, tape machines, furniture and even pianos - Green Shed has the infrastructure to handle it all.

The closure of this facility would not only affect me but also many others who rely on it for various needs. It is not just a place where we can drop off our unwanted items; it's a place that fosters sustainability and recycling. It encourages us to think twice before discarding something that could be reused or repurposed.

Approximately 90% of Australians consider recycling important. The closure of facilities like Green Shed contradicts this concern for sustainability as they play an essential role in managing waste effectively.
