Dear Parents, Students, and Supporters,
What started as a group of concerned Gilbert parents fighting for our school has grown into something much bigger—a call for major change in our education system. We are demanding a pause on the current reform plans and a shift toward real improvements that put our children first.
The current plan to close so many great schools without suitable options in place is unacceptable. Our children deserve better, and so do the dedicated teachers working tirelessly in a system that doesn’t support them. We feel the current education reform plan is not addressing the real issues that need urgent attention.
We invite all schools, parents, students, friends, and families to join us in taking a stand!
WHEN: Monday, February 17th, 7:45–8:30 AM
WHERE: Trimingham Hill Roundabout, Bus Stops, and East Broadway
WHY: To demand real change in education reform, better curriculum, and support for our schools and teachers
Make signs! Show support for your school, teachers, and the changes we need in education! Let’s make our voices heard.
The media have been invited to attend, so this is our chance to be seen and heard!
Let’s stand together for the future of our children. We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
Parents of Gilbert Students
