I am a regular volunteer at Champs Chance Dog Rescue, a shelter that has transformed the lives of countless dogs. Our rescue center is under threat of closure, which would leave many dogs without the care they desperately need. In Florida alone, there are approximately 500,000 homeless pets (source: Florida Animal Friend). The closure of our rescue would exacerbate this issue and leave more animals vulnerable.

Champs Chance provides not only shelter but also medical care and rehabilitation for abused and abandoned dogs. We have seen firsthand how these efforts can turn around a dog's life, giving them another chance to find loving homes.
