The peacocks of Glendora are more than just birds; they are a part of our community's history and identity. My family, like many others, moved to Glendora partly because of these unique creatures. They have been here longer than most residents, adding color and life to our town.

However, there is a plan in motion to cage these peacocks and send them away from their home. This is not only unfair but also disrupts the natural balance that has existed for years. According to the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, relocating wildlife can cause stress-related diseases or even death (source: LA County Dept. Animal Care & Control). The peacock population in Glendora has been stable for years without causing significant issues (source: City of Glendora).

Our community should be proud to host these magnificent birds rather than trying to remove them from their habitat. Let us stand together against this unjust action.
