I’m reaching out as a deeply concerned individual, impacted by the planned appearance of Serbian singer Designernica at the club Monaco on 26th April 2025. My worry stems from the harmful influence the singer has been known to exert, in particular, upon impressionable young minds.

Children look up to musicians as role models and are prone to mimic their behaviors and attitudes. According to the American Psychological Association, celebrity, and particularly musical role models have a significant impact on the development of youth identity. The personal and professional behaviors exhibited by celebrities can influence our children's development in areas such as morality, empathy, and world perspective (American Psychological Association).

The concern arises with singer Designernica who is synonymous with uncensored, often offensive and questionable content. This not only reflects poorly on music artist as a role model but also creates a negative influence on the younger generation, impressionable with their cognitive abilities still developing.

We are appealing to the management of Club Monaco to reconsider the performance of Serbian singer Designernica on the 26th April 2025. A club of such repute should take into account its societal impact and contribute to a more responsible influence on our youth. I, therefore, urge you to support this petition, to safeguard our children from potential harm, and to uphold a more positive influence on their budding minds. Please sign this petition.
