Data Centers are starting to establish themselves in multiple communities throughout Indiana. Kokomo does NOT want a data center emerging. A data center brings many cons to a community as to consuming gallons of water daily, raising local utility costs, raising taxes for local residents, and more!  

Multiple counties have already shut down data centers from establishing inside their community. Kokomo needs to as-well. Republican or Democrat, data centers do not benefit either side besides anyone political that may receive government kickback in the long run. Limited jobs will be created.

Mayor Moore has also vouched to protect Kokomo from data centers in a recent “Ask the mayor” segment from The Kokomo Post.
