Thank you so much for all your support! We've had over 13,000 signatures in the first four days of this petition - clearly this is an issue that many people feel strongly about. Please keep signing and sharing, it really helps us to demonstrate the level of public opposition to UBC's plans to cone the Bald Eagle nest.

Our next steps will be to present this petition to UBC and Polygon Homes to ask them to withdraw the permit and agree to follow the government guidelines of leaving a "noise buffer" of 160m around the nest. We will also present the petition to the Minister of Forests to ask them to refuse the coning permit.
