After overseeing an administration mired in lawbreaking, sleaze, sexual predation and corruption, Boris Johnson has been forced to resign by his own party.

Departing PMs are normally allowed to nominate people for honours through a Resignation Honours List. However, this is a convention rather than a right.

Boris Johnson has previously abused the honours system.  To allow him to do so again, having been forced from office, would be an insult to Parliament and the British people, particularly those harmed by the incompetence of his administration.

We call upon Parliament and the Honours Committee to deny Boris Johnson a Resignation Honours List.
