I, a devoted animal lover, can no longer stand by and witness the cruelty animals suffer at the hands of humans. Year after year, instances of animal mistreatment and neglect continue to fill our news cycles, leaving hearts all over the world broken. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), nearly 1 million animals are abused or killed in connection with domestic violence each year in the United States alone.

However, the issue extends beyond the borders of any single country; it is a global problem. The World Animal Protection reports countless instances of animal abuse and neglect in various parts of the globe, deeply disturbing indifference towards our non-human counterparts.
