Pressure the Brazilian government to stop Amazon deforestation due to beef production

The Issue

The Amazon Rainforest is being destroyed by approximately 8000 sq/km per year. The leading cause of this deforestation is cattle ranching for beef production. This large-scale deforestation can result in many negative consequences that will affect the entire planet. These consequences include things like increased greenhouse gas emissions which are fuelling global warming. The deforestation going on in the Amazon is an unsustainable practice that needs to stop now. Reducing your beef consumption is the first step to combating this issue, but it will take much more action if we want to make real change. Help me in pressuring the Brazilian government to create stricter laws for cattle ranchers and stop the destruction of the lungs of our earth.
