We've got to level the playing field for American workers.

American manufacturing jobs are at-risk because of a new trade deal called the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) that is making its way through Congress. That’s because of currency cheating by TPP countries like Japan -- and the TPP does nothing to hold currency cheaters accountable.

Even a pro-TPP study touted by the Obama administration predicts that the trade deal could cost 121,000 manufacturing jobs!

Already, our trade deficits with the TPP countries cost the U.S. 2 million jobs in 2015 alone and without measures to stop currency manipulation, things could get even worse under the TPP. The next President can help preserve good manufacturing jobs here at home by taking steps to stop currency manipulation by Japan and other countries in Asia that may later join the TPP, including China and South Korea.

Currency manipulation hurts American jobs. We need to know where the presidential candidates stand on enforcing currency manipulation rules in the TPP.

The men and women who have put their hard work – and even more than that, their heart and souls – into our factories make America great. Our next president cannot let them down.
