Suffering in Silence Hello! Some of you have asked what about the other animals in Bandung zoo.? .... like the sun bears, they are all suffering in silence and desperately need us to give them a voice. Following Yani’s death last year, the poor girl had sores on her body and she was shackled to the ground as she laid dying, not much has changed since. I am trying to find out what happen to her baby Yamon born there in Bandung zoo. It is probably 11 years old now if he/she is still alive. In November of 2016, Scorpion captured videos of the 3 elephants in Bandung Zoo with their feet chained. A juvenile elephant is noticed to be suffering from zoochosis. Folks, this is how the Indonesian Government is protecting a critically endangered species, by allowing evil zoo owners to get away with cruelty! The 2 other elephants in the background are shackled as well. I am working on this issue but will take time. This is very hard to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tqh2aFWycw Due to high demand for palm oil, the Sumatran elephant’s habitat as well as habitat for other wildlife have been decimated and the onslaught continues. Please boycott palm. There remains under 3000 of these magnificent animals in the wild. Here is another video of deers with skin condition suffering in silence. Their pen is cramp and filthy. When it rains, it is turned into a cesspool for bacteria due to ineffective drainage system https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUjhUtE79-Q Here is another poor Binturong trying to grab some ornamental leaves to eat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qhOjgobO0M This mud prison devoid of vegetation is not a habitat! Please continue to share this petition and hopefully the Government will start to listen and start to do the right thing. It is also my intention to get Rebecca of Animal House to hand deliver this petition signatures to the Ministry of Forestry. Thx as always for your support. ps: tickets is not exactly cheap to get into Bandung Zoo. It will cost 25,000 rupiah but I do not know if this is per person or family rate. 25K rupiah will buy you 2 rice and fried chicken in Indonesia videos taken by Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitor Group. Thanks Scorpion! If you like to help Rebecca/Animal House with their fund raising efforts please go to https://www.gofundme.com/sunbearsindonesia Every dollar helps. Thanks as always
