These animals deserve better. At the moment a local group, Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring group is trying to raise money to buy fruits to feed the sun bears and Animal Asia is organizing training for zoo officials. Whilst this is good to stop the "bleeding" this band aid solution will not resolve the lack of funds to run take care of these poor animals properly. My understanding is, this is a private zoo and as such profit will always come first compared to the animals welfare. Experts have said that the best solution is to relocate these animals.
