They were the ones who highlighted the plight of the Sun Bears and raising money to buy fruits to feed the bears. Whilst it is wonderful, I am sure you will agree that this is a band aid solution. I think you would agree that the best thing for all the animals is to relocate them to sanctuaries where there can be free to live/roam and taken care of. I heard that Bandung Zoo is a private enterprise. If this is true, surely it is the duty of the Indonesia Government to revoke their license and shut it down as there is clearly evidence of animal neglect. As you know Argentina is closing their 140year old zoo in Buenos Aires. So I am very hopeful that if everyone work together we can be victorious and shut down the zoo, starting with Bandung Zoo. Are relocation sites currently being seek out for these animals. Can you share with all of us in more detail regarding your efforts. Thank you again for including the plight of these poor animals in AFA Coalition August newsletter to raise awareness. Will this newsletter be available on your website?
