WOW!!! What this election means for student loans...

Everyone-

WOW!  We predicted that the GOP would be annihilated in these mid-terms...we even (boldly) predicted they would UNDER perform polling estimates (which hasn't happened since before Trump), and THEY DID!   Even our arch nemesis, Virginia Foxx, could lose her seat in Congress.  She won by 20 points in 2024.

Make no mistake:  Student loan borrowers comprise nearly 20% of the GOP Base.  They had a LOT to do with these election results.  See this poll.

This all makes me very, very hopeful...

This SHOULD be very good for us...BUT...the Democrats betrayed us in 2024.  I am taking nothing for granted and neither should you.  They made no specific promises to us in this election, and may feel that they can take us for granted, like they did in 2024 (where they LOST).  

We have to fight, folks.  We cannot count on the Democrats, despite their friendlier rhetoric.  They won't help us unless we push them to.

We MIGHT have a shot at getting the Republicans to do something before the end of the year while they can, and repair their badly wounded party.

➡️I am thinking seriously about doing a BUS TOUR (literally) over the fall/winter to reach out to both parties in their districts. Particularly the incoming winning candidates. What do you think?
