Tomorrow is President Biden's 100th day in office. The first 99 days have been, frankly, a terrible disappointment for student loan borrowers. But for a couple of small cancellations totaling $2 Billion (which the Department makes up in about 1 week in interest charges), President Biden has completely disregarded the pledges he made, and the obligations he was honor-bound to keep. We need to push him with these two quick actions:

2. Contact the White House, and say something like this:

Mr. President,
Before the election, you said you would "eliminate" student loans for people who attended public colleges or HBCU's and made less than $125,000. You also endorsed Sen. Warren's bankruptcy agenda, which included a Day One executive order directing the Department of Education to stop opposing student loan borrowers in bankruptcy court. It is now almost your 100th day, and you have done NEITHER of these things.
Please do the right thing. Cancel ALL federally owned student loans, return bankruptcy protections, and replace this catastrophically failed, nationally threatening lending system with something that works for the people, not Washington DC.

Hopefully you all are starting to see that we need your participation more than ever in order to get these loans gone. We have a huge muscle to flex, but we have to flex it, and that truly starts with you, and no one else.
