Everyone-
Yesterday was President Biden's 100th day in office. The first 99 days have been, frankly, a terrible disappointment for us student loan borrowers! We need to push him with these two quick actions:
1. Retweet this, and follow us on Twitter.
2. Contact the White House, and say something like this:
Mr. President,
Before the election, you said you would "eliminate" student loans for people who attended public colleges or HBCU's and made less than $125,000. You also endorsed Sen. Warren's bankruptcy agenda, which included a Day One executive order directing the Department of Education to stop opposing student loan borrowers in bankruptcy court. It is now almost your 100th day, and you have done NEITHER of these things.
Please do the right thing. Cancel ALL federally owned student loans, return bankruptcy protections, and replace this catastrophically failed, nationally threateing lending system with something that works for the people, not Washington DC.

Biden has completely disregarded the pledges he made, and the obligations he was honor-bound to keep. In his first address to Congress on Wednesday, he never even mentioned student loans.
I hope you all are starting to see that we need your participation in order to get these loans gone. We have a huge muscle to flex now, but that only matters when we flex it...and that starts with you.
Can we ALL please come together today and get this simple action done? It will help...Tremendously!
