My brother, Blake H. Stover is a first time, non-violent drug offender who has been incarcerated for over 25 years. Blake is now 65 years old and has spent nearly half of his life behind bar, separated from his family and community.

Over the past two and a half decades Blake has worked tirelessly to rebuild himself. He has completed paralegal courses, participated in countless educational and improvement programs, and maintained an exemplary conduct record. He has used every opportunity available to learn, grow, and give back within the prison system.

Blake’s health has begun to decline, yet his spirit remains strong. He has been transferred between facilities in several states, far from home, but continues to hold on to faith and hope of being reunited with his family. Our family has never stopped believing in him, and we are ready to fully suppport him when given the opportunity to come home.

We believe that after more than 25 years of incarceration, Blake has more than paid for his crime. He has shown deep remorse, personal growth, and an unwavering commitment to rehabilitation. We are asking for compassion - for a second chance for a man who has served his time and proven through his actions he is ready to live a productive and peaceful life surrounded by his loved ones.
