The Issue
We are calling for President Trump to disband the Navy SEALs due to their conduct. As we watch the news we can't seem to go a few days with out seeing some kind of heinous act attributed to what is supposed to be one of the "silent professionals" in the Special Operations community, to give a list of things they have done we will start with the worst thing they are doing;
Trying to block the Medal of Honor for Air Force Tech Sgt John Chapman, who they left behind during the battle of Takur Ghar. They left him for dead without even checking to see if he was alive (which he was), then had to be saved by a group of Army Rangers. Hooah.
A Navy SEAL who is a Governor is now fighting allegations of sexual coercion, blackmail, invasion of privacy, and misuse of charity resources to fund his campaign.
A commanding officer and a Command Master Chief assigned to an East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare unit have been relieved of their duties overseas due to alleged sexual misconduct and drug use.
11 SEALs tested positive for drug use in recent weeks.
Navy SEALs can't seem to keep Operational Security due to wanting to write so many books.
A Navy SEAL created Blackwater, which is a reflection of their character, which had its own host of problems and international incidents.
Navy SEALs have a history of embellishment, especially when books or movies are going to be made about them.
2 Navy SEALs being investigated in the strangulation death of a Special Forces soldier in Africa told a witness he choked out the soldier to “get back” at him for an earlier slight and were under investigation for stealing money.
Why does the Navy even have a ground combat element? Force Recon, Green Beret, Delta, and other Special Operations can and do all jobs required, so SEALs are not even needed, they spend too much money and resources.
The list continues, so it is about time to end this young, redundant, and unprofessional Special Team. It will not only save money but will also save the United States from any further embarrassment.
