As we see the Monuments that have recognized the Events and the Individuals that have shaped Our past torn down, defaced, and destroyed, we find the need to Protect one that we all speak of in a unified voice.  We the FSU Boosters, Students, beloved Fan’s want you to know that the incidents of the past have paved the way Generations later for this Amazing Country which is the Greatest country in the World.  We the Friends and Family of  FSU Football stand firm and Proud to  support and protect the Legacy of DOAK Campbell as the President that brought the beloved sport of Football to FSU.  We recognize that mistakes made in the Past are meant to be learned from and allow us to become better and more unified.  We do not believe the destruction or erasure of the Legacy of DOAK Campbell Stadium would serve any purpose of that but to cause a greater divide at such a volatile period in the United Staes.  Just as disposing of the Football program would never change the fact that DOAK Campbell brought Football to FSU.  Erasing his name from the stadium would not change that fact either and only cause unnecessary strife and division during an already unprecedented time. The petition we have created is a Testament to the years of wonderful experiences had by Generations of FSU Football fans and Players and it is Our request that the title DOAK Campbell Stadium remain the daunting House to our opponents that it has always been.
