Until last year, 25 years had gone without even winning a home playoff game. They had gone through 50 years without appearing in a Super Bowl until Sunday. Majority of the UCM student and faculty are apart  of the franchise and a fanbase that has existed desperately in the past. We can now enjoy the present. The Kansas City Chiefs became Super Bowl Champions for the first time in a half century on yesterday.

On February 05, 2020, Kansas City gets to celebrate an event of a lifetime and with this day being a Wednesday. We as a community are petitioning to get classes cancelled for that day.
