Nationwide, Citizens are being denied Federal Long Term Disability, those with significant health issues.

Also, those with accepted Disability, are being bullied and randomly their Monthly Social Security Disability Checks taken away. 

Make a Checklist for Social Security Disability Recipients so they know what to provide the Social Security Office weekly, monthly or yearly. 

Train Social Security Offices - 

           A. Understand the health impacts of the stress created by their actions, such as randomly taking monthly checks, with insufficient notice or explanation.

           B. Require Social Security Employees respond in writing to the Forms and correspondence submitted. Have a check and balance system that assures these items are on record at the Social Security Office. 

           C. Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) - stop the SS Office from saying someone can work without any backup for the statements or have SGA with no backup or evidence for this finding

           D. Train Social Security Personnel to not say things which are insulting to the Disabled Person, such as:

                   i. Well since you are sitting around doing nothing, then prepare a Monthly Report showing Monthly income, years before your Disability acceptance date. 

                  ii. You applied Online, well if you had applied for Disability at our Office, you NEVER would have received Disability

                 iii. So, you been doing (mention an activity or action occurring, such as passing out at work) this before you applied for Disability

                 iv. The reason I stopped your Disability is because you did not respond to me quickly enough, even though the person was not informed of a date to provide that information

    Review the Social Security Office personnel attitude toward persons receiving Disability. The Personnel seem to be jealous of citizens receiving Disability, so they are doing all they can to deny the Disability and when that does not work, everything they can to use Substantial Gainful Activity ( SGA) concept to stop their Disability Checks

  Provide a system of Checks and Balances so that when a Form is completed, both the Social Security Office and Disability Applicant can see the Forms are on File. 

   Provide a system of Checks and Balances so that when the person on Disability 

           1. Requests for a dollar amount per month be withdrawn, instead of 100% of the Check taken from them, is followed by Social Security personnel, because they are not. 

           2. Educate the Social Security Personnel that checks taken away at 100% of the amount can quickly result in the disabled becoming homeless

           3. Constantly scaring the disabled into becoming homeless is cruel and inhuman and the Social Security Staff need to understand not just the financial but the emotional aspect of their actions. 

This should never occur. The person worked hard for their Social Security Retirement or Disability and should be respected, not put in constant fear of going homeless because their primary source of income is too easily taken away from them with no one for the Disabled to turn to except Attorney's and they do not always get the job done to protect the disabled. 

Personally, Social Security has been randomly stopping 100% of my checks for 2 1/2 years, and the Attorney Firm working with me often states, "they are not following any of the laws" and we can't get them to stop. 

EXPEDITED REINSTATEMENT - IGNORED 

Upon Social Security stopping someone's disability, the issue must be sent to another Social Security Office, as the personnel working side by side do not create any kind of check and balance for the disabled. As a matter of fact, you could say birds of a feather, flock together. 

If an Expedited Reinstatement is requested from the disabled worker, teach the Social Security Personnel when they can ignore this request, or if they can ignore this request.

Personally, when I submitted an Expedited Request, and a Letter from Social Security stated that my disability payments had been stopped, the Social Security Office stated oh no, we suspended the disability so you do not qualify for the Expedited Reinstatement. 

FORMS SUBMITTED - CHECKS AND BALANCES

     Virtually ALL the Forms I submitted to the Local Social Security Office were ignored and even though I requested a written response in writing, I never received a response (for which I have a Letter showing the Form Number and action/no action taken by Social Security. This should not happen to anyone, we need a system of Checks and Balances where both the applicant or disabled can see the Forms submitted by them to Social Security and Social Security will see the Forms submitted by person. 

SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICES HAVE TOO MUCH AUTHORITY

   Social Security "stopped" my disability checks, this was about 2 months after I had informed the local Social Security Office Manager step by step for 1 1/2 years (after disability acceptance) on how I closed my physical business office 6 months after the disability was approved and advised all my customers that the practice was closed due to medical reasons, by April of the following year.

Once Social Security knew I had advised all my clients the Office was closed and therefore I would have no income, about 2 months later they "stopped" (they say suspended, but SS Letter says "stopped") my disability checks and advised me that if I had applied with their Office, I never would have received disability approval.

When the local Social Security Office could not get my disability denied by re-applying for disability through their office, they have randomly taken checks from me for the last 2 1/2 years knowing the Social Security Disability Checks are my primary source of income. If friends had not lent us money, we would already be homeless. Social Security has taken over 6 of my checks in the last 2 years. 

When Social Security "stopped" by disability checks, I immediately went into the Office and advised them that I had no other source of income, Office Closed and I have no other retirement. They forced me to signup for early Social Security, and when my Disability was almost immediately re-approved, I was put back on Social Security Disability. From that point forward they have been trying to prove I have Substantial Gainful Activity, although the year disability was approved my practice had a Loss (first time in decades) and we provided them this information in writing detailed by month (as they requested) and called a person to person meeting to discuss this fact. The Social Security personnel comment back to us (me and the Attorney) that they did not understand the Net Income, refused to look at Bank Statements so they could follow the cash in and cash out with us, and, then stated that Social Security is claiming that I can earn what the average healthy person in my industry earns, period. I cannot earn what a normal healthy person earns, which my business net income has shown since 1993 when I opened my small practice to be able to manage my over 8 incurable medical conditions, while working as much as possible. The 8 incurable is now 9.

HELP - SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICES ARE OUT OF CONTROL
