The problem that I want to solve is the budget cut on hunger programs in the United States.  President Trump's new proposed budget calls for huge cuts to hunger programs for families and kids. These budget cuts would:

• Eliminate funding for afterschool and summer programs for low income students. These programs that are often the only places they can get a meal. 
• Reduce funding for WIC, the program that provides food for pregnant moms, newborns, and young children. 
• Do a lot of harm to kids in need and work against the progress that I and other hunger advocates have made.
