Avascular Necrosis is a painful rare disease, it happens due to lack of blood supply to the bone. There is no cure. There are very few specialists to treat disease nationally and worldwide. It's a chronic disease that effects people from age 4 to elderly often the disease leads to bone collapse. Sudden loss of blood supply can happen due to trauma to joint,steroids,autoimmune diseases, clotting diseases, Chemo, radiation to name a few. We need more money for research so children and adults don't have to deal with lifelong pain, and low quality of life. It's difficult to live your full potential when you suffer in pain everyday
