When a person commits an act of domestic violence and/or abuse, they are let go only to violate once more. The victims are left confused and alone, some may not want to move forward with their stories for fear their abuser will hurt them. It takes so much courage for a victim to go through the due process yet repeat offenders still remain among us and their new victims do not suspect a thing. Children are put in between such brutality but what if they were exposed initially?  I ask that a public mandatory and searchable registry be kept locally and nationally. (.gov web host)  Also, just as sex offenders have to register and make known their presence in any neighborhood, a DV predator should be required to inform everyone within a 500 mile radius of him or her of their presence, at their expense entirely. The offender should have their name in each state and then on a national registry, listing their full name, photo along with dates and descriptions of offenses.
