Though Miriam was not accorded an "official" state funeral. She was accorded by the Philippine National Police among the highest final respect they can accorded to her, arrival and departure honors and 21-gun salute. What matters most is the place Miriam plays in our hearts, she continues to live on. The fight for good is not yet done. We shall continue it and in our won little ways, we can create a better world. May we always remember Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago. Death is not the end of our lives, it si an integral part of our existence such as our birth! Thank you all for taking part in this petition!
