On Friday, April 23th, a hearing was held in a court in Minsk to consider the appeal against the verdict in the case of Belsat journalists Daria Chutsova and Katsiaryna Andreyeva. Unfortunately, there was no surprise, the rule of law in Belarus still does not exist. The court rejected the appeal and left the sentence of 2 years in a penal colony unchanged.

The rejection of the appeal and the show judgment in the case of Belsat's journalists show that the regime "appreciates" the influence and popularity of Belsat among Belarusians. We ourselves should continue to support Katsia and Dasha, as well as the independent media in Belarus, so we cordially encourage you to promote, share and sign the petition initiated by the Belarusian House on the release of journalists and strengthening pressure on the Lukashenka's regime by the international community! In this way, we will show that we are not indifferent to the fate of political prisoners, and we will take another step towards a common victory! Solidarity is our weapon!
