The police department of Sri Lanka has auctioned its service dogs to private owners and the situation of some of them is tragic. This particular dog is suffering with parasitic infestation with a swollen belly. The buyers have tried to cross her. Chained up and not in a good condition. When the animal welfare groups tried to buy the dog the owner kept on hiking the price. 

Is this how we are treating innocent animals who served the country? Is this how a Buddhist country is showing gratefulness? Please urge the president to order to take  back these auctioned dogs from these cruel owners.
