For upcoming BMC ELECTION and for all Local Governing Bodies election Maharashtra state Election Commission have scheduled special drive for  VOTER LIST  UPGRADATION . 

Actually such frequent drive before each election is wastage of Human and Infrastructure resources. 

To overrule such wastage better option is to start election based on AADHAR based  Biometric  identity . 

 Every AADHAR CARD HOLDER Should give facility of voting each level election ( Viz : Grampanchayat , ZP , CORPORATION , STATE AND CENTRAL ELECTION )  once in 5 year in any part of India as per their choice . No need of list and no need of Voter id card and its frequent updation. 

स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्थांची मतदार यादी पुनरिक्षण करण्यासाठी विशेष ड्राईव्ह घेण्यात येत आहे . वस्तुतः प्रत्येक निवडणुकीआधी अशा प्रकारचे नूतनीकरण हे मनुष्यबळ आणि पायाभूत सुविधांचा अपव्यय ठरतो .
आधार कार्डच्या सहाय्याने मतदान प्रक्रिया राबवली तर पुन्हा पुन्हा नाव नोंदणी , स्थलांतरा नुसार नाव वगळणे -समाविष्ट करणे असे सर्व प्रकार टाळले जाऊ शकतात .

प्रत्येक आधार कार्ड असणाऱ्या मतदाराला ५ वर्षात देशात आपल्या इच्छेनुसार प्रत्येक स्तरावरील निवडणुकीत एकदा मतदान करण्याचा अधिकार द्यायला हवा . याचा अर्थ ५ वर्षातून एकदा स्थानिक स्वराज्य संस्था , एकदा विधानसभा आणि एकदा लोकसभेसाठी मतदान करण्याचा हक्क देणे . राज्यनिहाय , विभागनिहाय यादीची झंझट नाही , ना स्थलांतरानुसार नाव समाविष्ट करणे -वगळण्याची झंझट .
