Do you know that an 11-year-old child hasn't been out of his bed for a year! Yes, Ayaan, who is partially sighted, was hit by a speeding school bus of his own school inside the school premises and now he has developed locomotor disability as well. In spite of being partially sighted, Ayaan was sent to another school block to get notebook, without any teacher or escort. The Management of  Delhi Public School (DPS) Srinagar tried to cover up this fatal negligence. The Parents of Ayaan want:

1. Compensation for treatment expenses and disability caused by school authorities

2. Demanding that DPS Srinagar/ D.P. Dhar Memorial Trust arrange for free education to Ayaan up to 12th Standard

The School authorities first told a lie that Ayaan fell down but later in the hospital, the child narrated his ordeal that actually he was hit by a school bus at the Zebra crossing near SEN department in school premises. Ayaan has suffered a very serious injury in the right calf muscle with dislodging & damage to the mesh of nerves. The Plastic surgeons at SKIMS shared that the procedure could have been less invasive, had the school reported the incident correctly and preserved the mass of the tissues that was knocked out from the leg.
