Change India's Independence Day to October 21st

Change India's Independence Day to October 21st
The Issue
Your Excellency Rashtrapati Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji
and
Your Excellency Pradhan Mantri Shri Narendra Modi ji
We the undersigned, citizens of the great land that Bharat is, along with its millions of children that live throughout the world petition your high offices to change the Independence Day of Bharat from August 15th to October 21st. On this day in 1943, Provisional Government of Free India was established at Singapore by our beloved freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The case for October 21st being the Independence Day is bolstered by the fact that the principal instrument of the Provisional Government of Free India was the Azad Hind Fauj, India's National Army (INA) at that time. Approximately 60,000 Indian soldiers served in Azad Hind Fauj, out of which 26,000 sacrificed their lives. The case for Oct. 21st as India's Independence Day is founded on the armed resistance as an instrumentality of Independence, which every slave nation must go through. Nations do not become free without paying a price with blood. The Tree of Liberty must necessarily be watered by the blood of its patriots. And this is what veterans of INA precisely did. Inspired by the visionary leadership of Netaji, man after man, and woman after woman of INA laid their lives for the liberation of India. If India is free today, it is because of the blood of INA veterans.
Your excellencies, sirs, there is a solid case against August 15th being the Independence Day of India. This is the day when India did not become independent, it is the day when India was vivisected. This is the day when a moth-eaten India came out of the historical process of colonialism. The pseudo-leaders who begged and negotiated current India's borders with the leaving British colonialist managed to lose much of Bharat territory. They lost Bharat's territory to the theological children of an expansionist and colonialist Prophet who had declared conquest of India enshrined in the Hadiths as Ghazwa-i-Hind, long before the current colonialist had set its foot on Indian soil. Losing territory to a colonialist is not called freedom. So why should we continue with the facade of celebrating Aug. 15th as Independence Day?
To reiterate our prayer, as India is free today it must have an Independence Day. And the date that is truly deserving to be Free India's Independence Day is October 21st. We the children of Free India, from all corners of the world, demand that a grave historical error be fixed, and Netaji and his INA should be given their due recognition of their role in India breaking its chains of slavery, by declaring Oct 21st as India's Independence Day.
Happy Independence Day !
