Recently, the President of Eastern Michigan University (EMU) has announced that they will not be extending the Pass/Fail option for the Winter 2021 Semester like they did for the Fall 2020 semester and that is unacceptable. Currently, EMU students are trying their best to work in the conditions we've been given under COVID-19 and it is unfair to us to not have this option available. 

Colleges across America have given their students this option because they understand what their students have been going through and how tough of a time it has been for them, but EMU has decided not to extend this option as they did last semester. The current winter semester has been just as hard and stressful on students if not more, especially given that we weren't even given the Mid-Winter Break we usually have, so I am writing this petition to ask that EMU extend the Pass/Fail option to the end of the semester because their students need it.
