Here is a primary source. An eyewitness account of the Holocaust provided by a survivor named Dusanka Dragelj Batic taken from page 576 of Dr. Greif's book "Jasenovac: Aushwitz of the Balkans."

Warning, the photo and following text is graphic. It depicts the realities of those who lived through and died during the Serbian Holocaust.

"Some moments are deeply etched on my soul and they will stay there as wounds cannot heal for the rest of my life. One day the camp guards ordered a "performance," a lineup. We had to hold our clenched fists behind our neck. They announced that the Kozara children would be "baptized." Amongst the Ustasha that were preparing and performing this baptism was priest Brekalo dressed in priest's clothes and the Ustasha Mujica, who is known as one of the most vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in the camp. They took the children from the frantic mothers. One would be taken by priest Brekalo and another by Mujica and they would stab them [babies] with bayonets, while the mothers fell to the ground screaming. At the same time, we were ordered to run in a circle with our hands behind our necks. While we ran, in utter shock at the scene of murdered children, the Ustasha hit us with large sticks. However we almost did not feel the pain. Two unfortunate mothers took their children and held them to their breasts. Later we learnt from other inmates that they were immediately burned together with their dead children."

It is through primary sources like this one that we learn the true nature of the depravity of the Serbian Holocaust and how it must never be forgotten. Nor must anyone in Croatia, where these morbid events took place, ever be permitted to deny the Serbian Holocaust without facing prosecution.
