Message aux signatairesCompassion for Canines - Ending the Yulin Dog Festival
We are 750K+ Strong! Global Movement to Stop the Yulin Dog Meat Festival

Tomorrow, the Yulin Dog Meat Festival will begin, where thousands of dogs - many stolen pets - will be tortured and killed for human consumption. I am inspired by the amount of people who have come together to express their compassion for canines.
When launching this petition, little did I know I was joining such strong global movement, one that cares for our canine friends and wants to end senseless animal suffering.
To everyone who has signed: thank you! Kaz (Raquel Sabino) from Brazil and I have joined forces with hundreds and thousands of people from around the world. Together we have gathered over 750,000 signatures! We hope to send a loud and clear message to the Government of China: the Yulin dog meat festival must stop!
Though the festival is programmed to go forward tomorrow - we can take a stand to prevent the abuse from continuing next year. This Friday afternoon, I will personally deliver your signatures to the China Consulate in Vancouver. Your signatures are also being delivered around the world to various Chinese Embassies throughout the week.
If you want to support the call to #StopYulinForever, you can share this petition. You can also leave messages for the Chinese Ambassador in Canada on my petition page - I will make sure to pass them along when I deliver the petition.
For all of you living in Vancouver, you can join me and my beloved goldendoodle Livie for a group dog walk in Stanley Park to raise awareness on June 24th, at 1pm. We will be meeting at the off-leash dog park along the SeaWall.
Thank you for your support!
