There has long been a debate about whether or not there should be prayer and religion in our public schools.  There are people on both sides of the aisle that are passionate about their opinions on this matter.  You have those people that feel that pray is needed in the schools in order for our children to be raised with specific morals and values.  This will allow our kids to grow up to be productive members of society.  Then there are those that feel that there should be a separaion between church and state and that religion needs to stay out of our public schools.  

    Prayer was taken out of the schools in two landmark decisions,

1. Engel v. Vitale (1962)
2. Abington School District v. Schempp (1963),

    The US Supreme Court established that an official state-school prayer stood in violation of the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause and that Bible readings and other (state) school-sponsored religious activities were prohibited.   

    Taking prayer out of the school has led to the demise of our schools.  We have taken away morals and values and replaced them with sex education and giving out condoms in school.  Since they have Removed Prayer...   They replaced prayer with:

Metal Detectors
Security
Police
Crime
Guns

By doing this we are left with unruly children in the school system.  The Catholic/Christian Schools... teach religion, so Why not Public Schools?
What is there to Debate? Our Religious Beliefs are NOT POLITICS...It's Personal!
People need to Understand GOD & LOVE and this needs to be taught in the school.  What also needs to be done is to put back prayer in our schools so that our children have a chance at living a productive life.  Please help us convince President Obama, the Senate, Congress, and the Supreme Court to bring back prayer in our schools.
