As we all know, there is a current outbreak of the corona virus disease, The COVID-19. At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. Ever since this has happened, everyone around us has been requesting all of us to stay home and try to inculcate social distancing. Today, the medical workers and the civic officials are reaching out to help each one of us in every way possible, quite literally. They are risking their lives to protect ours. During such times, we should be supportive of them and help them in saving not only our lives but also the lives of our families, friends, relatives and everyone else around us. 

But still, there is a community, which i'm sure everyone has heard of by now, the 'Tablighi Jamat' that has caused a total nuisance. They have caused this deadly disease to spread in the whole country, knowingly, by performing the following event.

This event took place during 13th - 15th March 2020. More than 2000 people were staying inside a mosque, infected by Covid-19, and they traveled to various parts of India. They can be given the benefit of doubt, that they were stuck. But still they did not consider informing the authorities. Instead they spread into various parts of the country and made the 21 days lock down meaningless, by putting everyone's lives in danger. Their actions have risked the lives of millions of innocent people, among few of which have already tested positive for Covid-19. And this does NOT stop here. Not only did they risk others lives by spreading into various parts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, etc. but now they are pelting stones, spitting on, and attacking the medical staff and the civic officials! There are multiple sources on the news channel and on the internet that you can refer to verify this, if by any means you haven't been informed already of these people. There is no version of this where you can defend their stupidity. 

This is a criminal case. All of these 2000 and more such people who have participated into such activities deserve to get punished for NOT ONLY SPREADING THE DISEASE KNOWINGLY, BUT ALSO ATTACKING ON THE MEDICAL STAFF AND THE CIVIC OFFICIALS WHO WERE THERE TO HELP THEM. This is beyond forgiveness and negligence.

Hence, I urge you all to support this petition and make our voice be heard by the government so that appropriate actions can be taken against such societal animals.
