The media encounter on the menace of galamsey with CSIR and IAIA happened on Thursday 4th May 2017. The attendance was great but the story was not good. However there were some interesting recommendation. It has to be a holistic and comprehensive approach to dealing with the menace. However it starts with the enforcement of the laws.
