Almost at 1000, we are still a long way off to let the Government Know that we are against Galamsey

Today the Steering Committee of the Media Coalition against Galamsey met with the leadership of OccupyGhana & the Denkyria Development Association. The meeting was to cement the agreement to work together to #StopGalamsey. This is the meeting of great forces to bring about positive change in Ghana. At the meeting it was announced that there will a nationwide red Friday on the 21st April to mark the end of the ultimatum that the Hon Peter Amewu gave to all illegal small scale miners. At the meeting it was also announced that the NCCE has agreed to work with the Media Coalition on the #StopGalamsey project
