President Mr Jacob Zuma. We, the majority of the people of the world, implore you, to stop the 'sport' known as 'Canned Hunting'. You sir, are the only person with the power to stop what is happening to your beautiful animals. The eyes of the World will be on you with the England to South Africa Cricket Tour during December 2015 until February 2016, where 4 Test Matches will be played. A Canned Hunt is a Trophy Hunt where an animal is kept in a confined area, such as a fenced-in area, increasing the likelihood of the hunter obtaining a kill. These animals are hand-raised, petted by tourists who take pictures with the animals, (called 'selfies'). Often, the animals are so tame that the guides only have to whistle to them when a 'hunter' has chosen the animal he/she wishes to kill. The term 'Canned Hunting' originates from the similarity of it being like shooting fish in a barrel. Please sign the petition to stop this cruel and cowardly 'sport'.
