Columbia University and many undergraduate and graduate institutions like it, which have billion dollar endowments, still do not have adequate mental health support for students on their campuses. Students are turned away every day from receiving the treatment they need, and multiple suicide attempts and deaths go virtually ignored each semester. These universities must do something to change the atmosphere their administration members, teachers, and students participate in and to create better channels to assist those in need.
