On January 24th, Trump told NPR he planned to sign an Executive Order giving the go-ahead for construction on the Dakota Access Pipeline, which had been halted under the Obama Administration for an Environmental Review. 

The Dakota Access pipeline threatens to destroy sacred sites for the Standing Rock Sioux while crossing un-ceded tribal treaty land. The pipeline will also cross parts of the Missouri river, threatening the downstream drinking water for nearly 3 million Americans.

An unprecedented number of Native and non-Native "Water Protectors" at Standing Rock - including a large number of Veterans - won a victory in late 2016 when the Army Corps of Engineers decided to review the environmental impact of the project.

Now President Trump wishes to overturn that independent decision so that construction can begin immediately, despite the legitimate concerns of scientists, lawyers, the Sioux and millions of American People.

Tell him to let the Army Corps do their job and leave Standing Rock alone!
