Allow dog walking during SA lockdown

The Issue

Animals need to be exercised.
This petition aims to allow the exercising of dogs and other domestic animals in a responsible manner during the South African COVID-19 Shutdown.

Domestic animals are not to be confined to a small space. This is especially relevant to animal owners living in small spaces (apartment, flat) and rely on daily walks to exercise their dogs.

We have a moral and legal obligation to ensure our animals are looked after properly.

Animal owners need to be able to exercise their pets in a responsible manner during the shutdown.
